Starting on the Wyre Valley Line
The Cotswold Line complete - it's time for turn my attention to the Wyre Line. Starting at Foregate Street, the route stops at Hagley. I will have to see whether I can extend it into Central Birmingham before picking up the Warwickshire Line
Today's walk is Worcester Foregate Street to Droitwich. A near equivalent walk to the Pilgrimage walked to Tripel B's but in the opposite direction.
So I know what to expect. Canals. Two. Worcester to Birmingham Canal left at Perdiswell Golf Course. Farmland through Claines to pick up the Droitwich Canal, which takes you all the way to the Station.
The mud thaws, so its a slip slide all the way. Pole dangling fishermen impossible to illicit a conversation from. Golf courses that always try and confuse - the signage never matching the rights of way.
Sounds like I am moaning too much.
There were gorgeous blue skies, there was street art and progress was swift.

Post walk drinks? Back to the moaning. Nothing at Droitwich station but I know the King and Castle (with Bathams) is at the other end of the journey. Closed for a week's refurb in early 2025.
The next stage - previously unwalked - finishes at a Tap Room. I'm going to kick the aris out of it.
